The Figgy Thyme is a fresh and aromatic aperitif cocktail that pairs the natural sweetness of ripe figs with the earthy, herbal character of thyme. Brightened by citrus and lengthened with tonic water, it delivers a refined balance between fruit, herbs, and gentle bitterness, making it ideal for pre-dinner drinking.
Preparation Method
Gently muddle the figs and thyme in a shaker to release their aromas without over-extracting bitterness. Add the vodka, honey, and fresh lemon juice, then fill the shaker with ice. Shake well until chilled. Strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Top with tonic water and finish with two dashes of Angostura bitters.
