Overview
Born in London during the creative wave of 1980s mixology, the Bramble redefined how gin could be expressed in a fruit-forward cocktail. Its structure is simple yet elegant, balancing classic London dry botanicals with bright citrus and the depth of dark berries. Loved for its accessibility and character, it quickly became a benchmark of modern British cocktail culture.
Preparation Method
Fill an Old-Fashioned glass with crushed ice. In a shaker filled with ice, combine the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Shake briefly to chill, then strain over the crushed ice. Slowly drizzle the crème de mûre on top to create a natural marbled effect. Garnish with two blackberries.
