Corn ’n Oil is a deeply aromatic Caribbean cocktail that blends spicy falernum, rich aged rum, and the signature molasses depth of blackstrap rum. Balanced with fresh lime oils and bitters, it’s a bold, silky tropical classic with roots in Barbados.
Preparation Method
Cut the half lime into two quarters. Add the lime pieces and Angostura bitters to an old-fashioned glass. Muddle gently to release the citrus oils and fresh juice. Add the falernum and the aged rum. Fill the glass with ice and stir well. Float the blackstrap rum on top. Garnish with a lime wheel. Serve with a straw.
