The Clove is a warm, spiced take on a classic whiskey drink. Bourbon forms the base, while sugar, bitters, and a single clove build an aromatic profile lifted by a bright touch of orange.
Preparation Method
Place the sugar cube in an old-fashioned glass. Add the orange bitters and a splash of hot water. Muddle until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Add one whole clove, fill the glass with ice, and pour in the bourbon. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with an orange peel.
