
Overview
Angelica Liqueur is a handcrafted herbal spirit created through a slow infusion of angelica root, almond, spices, and fresh botanicals. The result is a refined after-dinner liqueur with warm aromatic notes, subtle sweetness, and a complex herbal character reminiscent of traditional European digestifs.
Preparation Method
Combine angelica root, almonds, and spices with 1½ cups vodka in a quart-sized container. Cap tightly and shake daily for 2 weeks. Strain through muslin or a coffee filter, discarding solids. Prepare a syrup with ½ cup sugar and ¼ cup water; let cool, then add food coloring (optional) and combine with infused vodka. Return to container and age in a cool, dark place for 1 month before serving.
