Caribbean Orange Liqueur

Overview

A bright, citrus-forward homemade liqueur created by infusing fresh orange zest in vodka and ageing it with superfine sugar. Smooth, aromatic and tropical in character, it delivers a refined after-dinner experience with a distinctly Caribbean warmth.

Preparation Method

Pare the zest from the oranges very thinly, avoiding the white pith. Pat dry to remove excess oils. Place the peel in a sealed glass jar with 16 oz of vodka and store in a cool, dark place for 48 hours. Strain out the peel, add the remaining 8 oz vodka and the sugar, stir well, seal again and age for at least 1 month before serving.
