
Overview
Sweet Lassi is a classic Northern Indian yogurt-based drink made by blending plain yogurt with cold water and sugar. Richer and more velvety than the thin savory styles, it’s lightly frothy, gently sweet, and designed to refresh and soothe the palate in hot weather.
Preparation Method
Add yogurt and cold water to a blender. Blend until smooth and lightly frothy. Add sugar to taste and blend briefly to dissolve. For a colder, more aerated texture, add 1–2 ice cubes and blend briefly. Serve chilled.
