Lassi Khara is a savory yogurt-based drink popular in Southern India, made by diluting yogurt with cold water and lightly seasoning it with salt and spices. Thin, tangy, and deeply refreshing, it is designed to cool the body and aid digestion, especially alongside spicy food.
Preparation Method
Add yogurt and cold water to a bowl or blender. Whisk or blend briefly until smooth and lightly frothy. Add salt and a very small pinch of asafoetida, mixing gently until fully dissolved. Serve cold.
