Preparation Method
Add the cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla extract to a coffee mug. Pour in approximately 1 oz of milk and stir until a smooth paste forms with no dry cocoa remaining. Heat the mixture in the microwave for 30–45 seconds, until warm. Stir thoroughly to ensure the cocoa is fully dissolved. Add the remaining milk, stir again, and microwave for 1–2 minutes until hot but not boiling. Stir once more and serve immediately.
