Melya is a minimalist coffee drink where hot espresso dissolves a paste of honey and unsweetened cocoa powder. Rich, glossy, and intensely aromatic, it delivers a concentrated balance of coffee bitterness, natural honey sweetness, and dry cocoa depth in a small, warming serve.
Preparation Method
Place the cocoa powder in a small glass. Drizzle the honey directly over the cocoa and stir until a thick, dark paste forms. Brew a fresh espresso. Slowly pour the hot espresso over the cocoa–honey paste while stirring continuously, allowing it to dissolve into a smooth, glossy mixture. Serve immediately.
