Microwave Hot Cocoa is a rich, chocolate-forward hot drink prepared using gentle microwave heat. Built on a concentrated cocoa base and finished with warm milk and vanilla, it delivers a dense, glossy texture and a deep cocoa flavor designed for comfort without dilution.
Preparation Method
In a microwave-safe mug, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and boiling water and stir until a smooth, thick paste forms. Microwave the mixture briefly until very hot, allowing the cocoa to fully hydrate and release its oils. Add the milk and stir thoroughly. Microwave in short intervals, stirring between each, until the drink is hot but not boiling. Remove from the microwave, stir in the vanilla extract, and serve immediately.
