The Mojito Extra is a bold, bone-dry reinterpretation of the classic Mojito, built with dark Jamaican rum, fresh lemon juice, mint, and club soda. Finished with Angostura bitters, it delivers a sharper, more aromatic profile designed for drinkers who prefer a less sweet, more assertive highball.
Preparation Method
Place the mint leaves in a Collins glass and add the lemon juice. Gently massage the mint against the glass to release aromatic oils without tearing the leaves. Fill the glass completely with ice cubes, ensuring proper dilution. Add the dark rum and top with club soda. Finish with Angostura bitters, give a gentle lift from the bottom to integrate, and serve immediately.
