Egg Nog — Holiday Punch is a rich and indulgent festive drink that blends eggs, milk, sugar, and cream with warming rum and bourbon. Thick, velvety, and softly spiced, it represents the classic punch-style egg nog traditionally served during winter celebrations.
Preparation Method
Beat the egg yolks in a bowl until smooth, then gradually add half of the sugar, beating until thick and pale. Stir in the milk, rum, bourbon, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. In another clean bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form, then gradually add the remaining sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the yolk mixture and whipped cream into the egg whites until fully incorporated. Transfer to a punch bowl, chill briefly if needed, and serve topped with freshly grated nutmeg.
