
Overview
A rich and velvety drinking chocolate made with real dark chocolate, gently infused with cinnamon and vanilla. Dense, warming, and indulgent, it is a traditional cocoa-based drink designed to be savored slowly.
Preparation Method
In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk, heavy cream, cinnamon stick, and split vanilla bean over very low heat for 15–20 minutes. Do not allow the mixture to boil. Remove the cinnamon and vanilla, then add the finely chopped dark chocolate. Stir continuously until fully melted and smooth. Pour into a coffee mug and top with a dense swirl of freshly whipped cream. Finish with a light dusting of cocoa powder.
