
Overview
Raspberry Julep is a fruit-accented bourbon julep with raspberry syrup replacing plain sugar. Mint should be handled gently so it stays aromatic rather than bitter.
Preparation Method
Gently muddle mint leaves with raspberry syrup in a julep cup. Add bourbon and crushed ice, then stir until the cup is cold. Top with more crushed ice and serve with the mint already in the drink as the only garnish-like element.
