
Overview
The Georgia Mint Julep is a peach-accented riff on the Mint Julep, keeping bourbon and mint at the center while adding soft stone-fruit sweetness. The Julep Cup and crushed ice keep the drink cold, aromatic, and Southern in style.
Preparation Method
Add peach nectar, peach schnapps, sugar syrup, and mint to a julep cup. Press the mint gently to release aroma without shredding the leaves. Add bourbon and fill the cup with crushed ice. Stir until the outside of the cup frosts, then mound more crushed ice on top. Finish with the mint sprig as the garnish and serve immediately.
