The Peach Julep is a softer fruit julep that pairs bourbon, peach nectar, mint, sugar, and crushed ice. It is simpler than the Georgia Mint Julep and keeps the focus on ripe peach and bourbon freshness.
Preparation Method
Add peach nectar, sugar syrup, and mint to a julep cup. Press the mint gently, then add bourbon. Fill with crushed ice and stir until the cup frosts. Top with more crushed ice. Finish with the mint sprig as the garnish and serve immediately.
