
Overview
The Champagne Julep lightens the julep template with sparkling wine while keeping mint, sugar, crushed ice, and a small brandy base. It is colder, brighter, and more celebratory than a full-strength whiskey julep.
Preparation Method
Add sugar syrup and mint to a julep cup. Press the mint gently, then add brandy and crushed ice. Stir briefly to chill the base. Top with Champagne and add more crushed ice if needed. Finish with the mint sprig as the garnish and serve while lively.
