
Overview
Spanish Coffee is a flaming hot coffee cocktail built around caramelized sugar, overproof rum, coffee liqueur, hot coffee, whipped cream, and nutmeg.
Preparation Method
Rim an Irish coffee glass with sugar. Add 151 proof rum and carefully ignite it, rotating the glass so the sugar warms and caramelizes lightly. Extinguish fully, add Kahlúa, then fill with hot coffee. Finish with one spoon of whipped cream and one pinch of nutmeg.
