Halloween Punch is a festive non-alcoholic sparkling punch built directly in a punch bowl and designed for group service. Sweet, fizzy, and visually playful, it combines grape juice, ginger ale, and melting sherbet for a creamy, foamy surface effect.
Preparation Method
Ensure all liquid ingredients are thoroughly chilled before combining to maximize carbonation and prevent the sherbet from melting too rapidly. In a large punch bowl, combine the grape juice and ginger ale. Gently stir to integrate without losing carbonation. Add scoops of orange sherbet on top. Allow the sherbet to partially melt, creating a foamy layer on the surface while leaving some scoops floating. Serve chilled by ladling into individual glasses.
