
Overview
The Irish Slammer is a stout-based bomb shot that combines Guinness with Irish whiskey and Irish cream. It is rich, creamy, malty, and fast-moving because the dairy liqueur changes texture quickly once it meets the beer.
Preparation Method
Pour cold Guinness into a beer mug, leaving enough headspace for the shot. Measure Irish whiskey and Irish cream into a separate shot glass. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness immediately before drinking. Drink promptly, before the cream begins to curdle in the stout.
